1. Applications are invited for following posts in various offices under Government of India falling within the jurisdiction of Staff Selection Commission (Northern Region), New Delhi.

1.1 Research Assistant (Forestry)

  7. Essential Qualification: (i) Degree of a recognised University with Hindi Medium and with General English as one of the elective subject at degree level. OR Degree of a recognised University with English Medium and General Hindi as one of the elective subjects at degree level, (ii) Two year's experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa

1.3 Junior Hindi Translator

OR Master's Degree from a recognised University in any subject with Hindi as the Medium and examination with English as a compulsory subject at Degree Level. OR Bachelor's Degree with Hindi and English as a main subject or either of the two as medium of examination and other as main subject plus recognised Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central Government offices, including Government of India' Undertakings.

  7. Essential Qualification: (a) Master's Degree of a recognised University in Hindi / English with English / Hindi as compulsory / elective subjects or as a medium of examination at degree level. OR

    Master's Degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi/ English with Hindi and English as compulsory/Elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject at Degree level. OR Master's Degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi/ English with Hindi/English medium, and English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subjects or as medium of examination at Degree level. OR Bachelor's Degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subjects plus a recognised Diploma/Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Govt, offices, including Govt, of India Undertakings.
