SSC Karnataka / Kerala Region (Junior Hindi Translator) Closing Date: 10.10.2008 Category No.1/BG Name of the Post & Department: Junior-Hindi Translator in karnataka Geo-Spatial Data Centre, Survey of India, Bangalore. Vacancy: 01 - OBC Pay Scale: Rs. 5000-150-8000 (Group C Non-technical post) Age Limit: Not exceeding 31 years. Only OBC candidates need to apply. Relaxable for Central Government servants upto 38 years in accordance with instructions issued by the Central Government. (This age relaxation is admissible only to Civilian Central Government Servants and not to Armed Force Personnel). Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for physically handicapped category candidates, as per DOPT OM No. 43019/ 28/86-Estt.D dated 1.2.1999. Intital Post: Bangalore, Karnataka with AISL. Job Requirements: To translate various Departmental publications, books, forms, circulars, manuals, articles etc., into Hindi or vice-versa to prepare surveying terminology, to translate day to day official letters. Office orders, Dept. Orders etc., and to assist Hindi Officer in various official matters. Note: All PH candidates belonging to OBC category are eligible to apply for the post. Category No. 2/BG Name Of The Post & Deptartment: Junior Hindi Translator In O/O Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Cochin. Vacancy: 01 - UR Pay Scale: Rs.5000-150-8000 (Group 'C' Non-technical, Non Ministerial post) Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years. Relaxable for Central Government servants upto 35 years in accordance with instructions issued by the Central Government. (This age relaxation is admissible only to Civilian Central Government Servants and not to Armed Force Personnel).
