Name of the Post & Department: Hindi Typist in Cochin Special Economic Zone, Cochin.

Vacancy: 01 UR (VH).

Pay Scale: Rs.3050-75-3950-80-4590. (Gr 'C' Non-technical, Non-Gazetted)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 18-35 years (No age relaxation for OBC/SC/ST candidates.

Relaxation for Central Government servants’ upto 50 years of age. (This age relaxation is admissible only to Civilian Central Government Servants and not to Armed Force Personnel)

Visually Handicapped: Visually Handicapped persons are those who satisfy one of the following conditions:-

1. Total absence of sight;
2. Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with correcting lenses;
3. Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degrees or worse. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be 22.08.2008

Educational Qualifications:

1. Secondary School Pass Certificate or its equivalent.
2. Possessing a speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting,
3. Knowledge in word processing (a certificate from a recognised institute to be enclosed).

Initial Posting:Cochin, Kerala with AISL.

Job Recruitments:

1. To assist the Jr. Hindi Translator in discharging the duties relating to implementation of Official language.
2. To carry out all the work relating to typing of Hindi documents.
3. To compile the data relating to official language for submission of Quarterly, Half -Yearly and Annual Returns.
4. To maintain files relating to Official Language.
5. To maintain the records pertaining to the Minutes of various meetings and follow up action on the decisions taken.
6. Any other work assigned from time to time.
