Applications are invited for the posts of Junior Hindi Translators (Group "C" Post) in the following Offices:

Category No. SR -1: Junior Hindi Translator in the Geological Survey of India, Training Institute, Hyderabad

Classification: Group-C (Non-Ministerial) (Non-Gazetted)

Vacancy: UR-2 (Two). OH candidates are suitable for the post. (VH/HH candidates are not suitable for the post).

Scale of Pay: Rs.5000-150-8000

Initial Place of Posting: HYDERABAD with AISL

Age Limits: 25 years.

Upper Age Limit is relaxable upto: 35 Years for Departmental and other Central Government Employees. 35 years for OH candidates.

Essential Qualification : Master's degree from a recognised University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a main subject at the Degree level (OR) Master's degree from a recognised University in any subject with Hindi as the Medium and examination with English as a compulsory subject at Degree level (OR).

Bachelor's degree with Hindi and English as main subject or either of the two as medium of examination and other as a main subject plus recognised Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central Government Offices, including Government of India Undertakings.

Job Responsibilities: 1. To translate various articles of scientific and technical interests as well as correspondence from English to Hindi and vice versa.

2. Will perform such other duties in his/her respective functional sphere as may be assigned to him/her from time to time by his/her superiors/controlling officer.

Category No. SR- 2: Junior Hindi Translator in the Geological Survey of India, Southern Regional Office, Hyderabad

Classification: Group-C (Non-Technical)

Vacancy: UR - 1 (One) OBC-01 (One). OH candidates are suitable for the post. (VH/HH candidates are not suitable for the post)

Scale of Pay: Rs.5000-150-8000

Initial Place of Posting: UR - CHENNAI & OBC - HYDERABAD. With initial posting at Chennai and Hyderabad and liability to serve within the state of AP, Karnataka & Goa, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry & Kerala where GSI Offices are located.

Age Limits: 25 years

Upper Age Limit is relaxable upto: 28 Years for OBC candidates, 35 Years for Government servants, 35 years for OH candidates, 38 years for OBC+OH candidates

Scale of Pay: Rs.5000-150-8000

Initial Place of Posting: Hyderabad with AISL

Age Limits: 25 years

Upper Age Limit is relaxable upto: 40 Years for Departmental candidates, 35 Years for other Central Government Employees, 35 years for OH candidates
