Indian Navy Direct Entry Artificer ( Diploma Holders ) Exam
Introduction to Indian Navy Direct Entry Artificer :
The Indian Navy is a high technology service, which operates and maintains highly sophisticated ships, sub marines and aircraft.
These are operated and maintained by engineers, who are given training at various intervals during their service.
Indian Navy Direct Entry Artificer ( Diploma Holders ) Examination is held twice a year.
Eligibility for Direct Entry Artificer ( Diploma Holders ) Exam
Qualification for Direct Entry Artificer Exam :
Three year diploma from a Government of India recognised Institute / Polytechnic, with minimum 50% marks in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications / Aeronautical or Ship Building / Instrumentation Engineering / Metallurgical / or in any other subject advertised for each batch.
Age : 18 – 22
Nationality : Indian, Gorkha subjects of Nepal are also eligible for recruitment.
Marital Status : Unmarried male.
Physical Standards for Direct Entry Artificer :
Minimum height 152 cms and above correlated to age with corresponding weight and proportionate chest with minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Good mental and physical health free from any disease / disability.
